Backed by a global network of partners
Sustainable Banking Hub advances sustainable finance in Indonesia through three main workstreams: Research and Analysis, Safe Space for Discussion, and Market-based Solutions. Together, these pillars support the financial sector in strengthening its role in Indonesia’s energy transition and sustainable development agenda.
Indonesia’s first ethical banking partner
Our work runs across three connected workstreams, each reinforcing the others to help Indonesia's financial sector finance a fair and lasting transition.
We produce rigorous research and data on sustainable finance in Indonesia — from financed emissions and climate risk to the policies shaping the market — giving the financial sector the evidence it needs to act with confidence.

Sustainable Banking Hub (SBH) is a flagship program by Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) dedicated to advancing sustainable finance literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. Established in response to the growing risks climate change poses to the financial sector, SBH supports financial institutions in navigating the transition toward a greener economy while unlocking emerging opportunities in sustainable finance.
The program also addresses the increasing need for capacity building amid rapidly evolving financial architecture reforms, equipping stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to adapt and thrive in a changing landscape.
